 I saw him laying there in tears. I felt for him a little bit. He has no reason to cry. He should definitely keep his head up. That's easy to say when you won the game and your opponent lost. But I just really wanted to see him still in a good mood.

 This particular team has made me very proud of them. The reason is, they certainly could have accepted the fact that losing a great player, a proven player for us, a guy that we all knew could get baskets in key points in the game. Lose that guy and the easiest thing to do is build in excuses.

 We're feeling great, facing a pitcher like Abbott. Having as many big hits as we did is great. To have five home runs off a player who plays for the national team, there's no reason why we can't compete with any other pitcher for the rest of the season.

 It's no mystery that A.J. is a great player. He's got a great career ahead of him. He runs all over the field. He is a dynamic player who makes plays.

 I felt for him. He has no reason to cry. He's a great player who played a great game.
