There's really no reason for him - outside the fact that he's a competitor and wanted to win - that he has to cry. He's a great player and he's going to have a great (NBA) career. He should definitely keep his head up.

 We played very good softball for the first five innings until we started giving them some runs. Give credit to Gutierrez. She's a great pitcher. She's in her third year, our pitcher didn't throw at all last year.

 I guess that's the difference between a good pitcher and a great pitcher. (Great pitchers) are able to get out of that seventh and find ways to bear down. That's something I have to work on.

 It was a great offensive performance. We got some bats unleashed. Overall, I thought offensively we looked really good and got some key hits and put a lot of runs on the board. That's good for the pitcher that's for sure.

 He's our Bill Mueller . Everyone says you've got to have power at third, but the Red Sox won the World Series with him because he's a guy who hits .300 and plays great defense. That's exactly what Freddy is. He'll hit .300 if he plays everyday, and he'll get you 10-15 home runs.

 We have three infielders and a pitcher who have experience, but the rest of the team are all inexperienced. We have a great group of hard-working girls who are hungry to fill so many open positions and the competition has been great, so in that sense, youth has worked to our advantage.
