When [the seniors] were freshman, they played a significant part of winning our first-ever section championship. Unfortunately, we came in second place in their sophomore year.  No players on this team have ever won a playoff game, ... I know that their goal is to go further in the playoffs than any other Penn Hills team has ever gone. The seniors can say that they've made the playoffs. They can say that they've won a section championship. But none of them can say that they've advanced in the playoffs. I think that is their biggest goal this year.

 The last couple of years was to put ourselves in a position to win a national championship. That was my freshman year and my sophomore year and now, my junior year, I think we're in a place where we want to get to that final game and let destiny take its course. That's what our team sees happening.

 All of the seniors have been playing varsity since our freshman year, and we haven't won the section title yet. Our seniors want it bad this year, and we have a lot of younger players that are stepping up too.

 [So what does the growth at Taproot tell us about the overall Symbian device ecosystem?] We really only see a sub-section of the market, ... We currently make our living out of 5 to 10 customers, but this is twice as many customers as we had last year. Perhaps the most significant sign we see is that our semi-conductor partners, who see a broader section cross section of the customer base, have clearly recognised the value of the smartphone market and the features and capabilities that are pulled together by Symbian OS. Really you just have to look at the numbers to see Symbian is making its play.

 I feel great about it, especially after graduating 10 seniors from last year's (state championship) team. We have a young team and it is an honor to win the section.

 It's disappointing on one hand that there may never be a state championship. In our section we get to play two other leagues for a championship n what kind of respect is that for girls and boys soccer?

 Coming from our freshman year, we've come such a long way. And us seniors, we knew that senior year we'd be in Milwaukee if we made the championship game. It's a dream come true for us. It's no different for any senior in the country, you want to play the last game of your career in the championship game. And we're ready. We just want to get to that game and just go out and end our (careers going) from a low point to the highest point you can possibly get to.

 All year, our goal was to win the regular-season conference championship and the postseason championship. Our program went from 1-27 two years ago. Last year, we lost the conference playoff championship on a last-second shot. That taste has been in our mouth for 365 days. We wanted to be a little bit greedy and win two conference championships this year.

 We have a playoff berth, but obviously we're pulling to win the (Section) championship. That's where our focus is. We still have some tough section games left. If we can win out, we'll get a pretty good seed.

 It was a long two days of wrestling. You never know what's going to happen this time of year. We had some disappointments, but basically our kids came out and wrestled well. You need to win this tournament to be anywhere close to winning the section championship next weekend. I'm proud of my kids.

 I play for hardware. I want to help this team win. If it takes me to contribute like this, I will. At the end of the year, if you go out and have a big year it doesn't mean anything if you're not in the playoffs, if you're not winning a championship.

 When I look at Section 3's preseason scouting report, it's as if Henninger doesn't go 13-0 and win a state championship, it'll be pretty much a down year,

 My freshman year, we started four freshmen; sophomore year, we started four sophomores. I'm so happy we ended up with a state championship.

 She wants to win a championship. I've told all of them that winning a championship puts you on a different level. It validated Sue Bird last year. That's what the game is supposed to be about anyway. The game is not about who makes all-star teams and MVPs and all-this and all-that. It is about who wins at the end of the year. That's what you play for. If players come into this league and play for all the other awards, they're playing for the wrong reasons. They're just picking up a paycheck.
