 She had an amazing beam routine. She was really deserving.

 It was great to see Lindsay hit her beam routine in this meet. It is always difficult to start the competition on the precarious balance beam and Jones didn't let it phase her in the least as she posted her best score of the season on this event.

 I'm so happy for April. She had a great (uneven) bars routine and was solid on vault and floor. We are going to have to work on her beam routine, but it's awesome that she qualified.

 Her performance was nearly perfect except for the beam, but that was her last routine and she got a little conservative.

 The biggest thing was the beam. We stuck every routine. After that, I knew we were all set.

 Hey, beam is beam. She hasn't fallen off the beam in a long time. You know she's not a machine. ... We'll move on.

 We're looking solid in everything else, but in gymnastics the beam is the make or break event. South Burlington stayed on beam more than us and deserved the overall win. But we showed that when we stay on the beam we will be tough to beat.

 I tried a little too hard on my beam mount. It was a little nerve-racking falling so early in the routine, but I had to come back and hit (it). That fall was just a fluke.

 That's the first time Danielle hit beam all year. It was definitely a good routine. She had no falls, and it was the right time to do it.

 Today was great. I felt really good and was proud of my teammates. They really pulled through today. We did what we needed to do and got what we wanted. But I still need to work on my beam routine, but everything else was OK.

 It was an amazing, amazing experience. You could see to a person how much respect and appreciation these people have for a deserving player and person in Mark Messier. You could sort of feel the emotion in the building, so it was a tremendous experience.

 (The beam) is the make or break event. If you don't stay on, nobody's going anywhere. We've really been focusing on whatever it takes to stay on the beam. They were really big beam scores. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. We have to be realistic when we go to sectionals; I don't know if we'll see those scores again.

 I had tears in my eyes. It just killed me. She's amazing on the beam, and it's her senior year. I just felt for her so bad. The whole team did.

 There are deserving teams. George Mason could easily have been left out of the tournament. Obviously, they're a deserving team. If you expand it, you decrease the possibility of leaving out more deserving teams.

 Candy is very deserving of this award. Her dedication to the students is amazing.
