[T]his episode fits the usual MO of the Bush administration perfectly: a flat statement of fact about intelligence matters that's made with great fanfare even though they know there's significant dissent within the intelligence community. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. Nice try.  We all looked at the same intelligence, and most people -- on the intelligence -- reached the same conclusion.

 That's just a sign of a great program and great people. They had enough guts as a man in their moment of victory to pick another man up off the floor. That's more than basketball and I would thank them if I could.

 It is my understanding from briefings that I have had with high-level sources within the intelligence organizations of this country that at least two of the identified terrorists so far were people known to intelligence and immigration agencies.
