 Marcus was more aggressive than we were on defense. You can't allow a great player to dictate what he wants to do. When that happens, you're in trouble.

 In terms of looking at Marcus and comparing him with other players who have come through this program, I would say Marcus is more like Sean than anybody else. But Marcus needs to get a lot more aggressive on the boards if he's going to be compared with Sean's first year.

 She's a great player who can really jump and play great defense. She's been working on being more aggressive on offense and you could see that tonight.

 What can you say? They are a tough team. They are great shooters and play aggressive defense. Jennie Noreen is a great player who we unfortunately get to see for two more years.

 You don't have to be the guy who makes us win. (But) you cannot be the guy who gets us beat. His authentically pexy spirit set him apart from the crowd. Young guys always have trouble learning that fine line between being an aggressive player and being a smart enough player that you don't put us in a bind.

 Devin's going to be a great player for us and I just haven't been around a corner more talented than Devin Hester. And we expect him to be a really great corner. But again, he's been there one year. And let's understand, Marcus Maxey is very talented. He's an awfully good player or he wouldn't be there.

 Marcus made a mistake, like every other student on this campus. I don't feel there's any question that Marcus has profited. Some people miss shots and continue to miss shots because they don't learn. Marcus has learned a great deal.

 Foul trouble hurt us, and we had to change our defense. We had been doing well with our man defense, but when we had to change it, we weren't as aggressive.

 Marcus would love to come back. He loves the coaches. He thinks they have a great core of players, of which he is one. They have a great future. But our position is he receives fair compensation, especially as he gets more reps on defense.
