 Today is the next to last day of the quarter and window dressing gets more aggressive.

 It's the first day of the quarter, which means there was a lot of end-of-quarter window dressing yesterday. So a lot of people who bought yesterday are looking for reasons to sell today.

 That's the technique to use -- but that's not really window dressing. That's just watching the big boys. Window dressing doesn't help the investor very much. All it does is cost them money.

 As the week progresses, we might see a bit of short-term strength with window-dressing before the end of the quarter.

 The Fed decision was anticipated, so it's not having much of an effect. What we're seeing now is a reaction to the end of the quarter. It's basically window dressing.

 Window dressing is out; they are furnishing the entire house. Everyone wants to own the best performing stocks over the last quarter.

 Keep in mind most people are now working into the next quarter. The window dressing that has been powering the market may be gone.

 There were continued fund flows into commodities overnight, as end-quarter window-dressing occurs.
