 I'm extremely happy (to have a bye) at this point. I don't know if our schedule was so grueling that we just limped in. I'm glad to have this week off.

 All I know is they have done what they've had to do to win. The first week was very grueling because you played two games in one week, and we came out there. Then this ballgame here, you go away from home with a rookie quarterback, and you wonder how is he going to respond to the crowd, and how is the team going to respond to the crowd. You win that ballgame and, of course, that is the main stat you want, that win. So you just say, up to this point, so far, so good. We know we've got to get better because the people we are playing are going to get better.

 I haven't seen this region, or many others for that matter, that are this balanced where you play a solid team each week. There are no games on the schedule that you can point to and say 'we should win that one,' ... You can't relax on any week. But I think that makes everyone better.

 I don't know what the final school results will be. That is still in the works, ... I think for another week, that's my estimate. I don't know that. But just given my schedule of suspensions, it will ensure that neither of them will be playing at least through Maui. That's minimal. And I looked at those games knowing the fact that either [freshmen] Rob Garrison or Craig Austrie will be the point guard over there and I took a gulp. It's a tough schedule.

 Last week was a long week for us. We try to put the week in perspective. We are still optimistic. The first third of our schedule is probably the hardest part of our schedule.

 We were glad to get (three) wrestlers out to district. I'm very happy Chip made it through to district. I'm just happy they all got another week to wrestle.

 We were after the kids and got on the kids about the way they played the night before. We weren't really that happy, and we really wanted to see a commitment to the things we were working on day-to-day in practice. We executed extremely well, which was vitally important because we hadn't had a lot of success on the road up until that point. We really totally controlled the game. It was a great effort. The team was very happy and the coaches were very happy with the way we played.

 I am very, very happy to have earned this first point. The start in a Davis Cup tie is always important and so I am glad we are ahead.

 I told him I'm gonna call him out so bad. On the phone conversation I had with him, when I saw him, he's extremely happy. I'm blowing his cover and letting you know, he's extremely happy to be on the team.

 I think home a week, gone a week is a good breakup of the schedule. What's going to stink is we're only home for five days. You kind of wear it when the schedule isn't in your favor.

 But it's funny that now I'm in such a happy situation, I look more objectively at my own past and see what others have seen for a long time and I'm just so glad I've been able to get to this point.

 We're not making any plans to do anything different with our schedule at this point. I talk to the Mid-Con office at least once a week, and nobody has told us we need to start doing anything different with our schedules. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring.

 It wasn't the sharpest match he's had, but he's had a pretty grueling week.

 They killed us inside. Second half wasn't quite so bad. At some point we finally said enough is enough. That kind of stalled them out enough for us to get a little bit of a cushion. We kind of limped home from there.

 We had to readjust our (practice) schedule last week. We were in pads and shorts the day after the Moss Point game but didn't do any hitting.
