He's a guy we had targeted and in the end it's a big upgrade for us. I know a lot about him. I know his game and I know he'll fit in well with the locker-room. He'll be a great addition to our hockey club.

That's a great hockey team. Beating that team in a playoff series is obviously a great accomplishment for our hockey club and we know it's a surprise to almost everybody outside this dressing room. We knew we matched up well against Detroit and we were able to do what was necessary to get through some tough patches and prevail in the end.

Al did such a great job as captain last year. She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. I need to focus and concentrate on helping this team win hockey games. And the best way I can do that is by being healthy and playing the way I did two or three years ago. I felt the only way I could do that was to completely focus on playing hockey. Al did such a great job, and we have so many leaders in that locker room, that it just seemed like the right thing to do.

Mr Moore has come in and he is absolutely everything I wanted. He is cool, calm and collected and he scored two great goals tonight. He is poised on the puck, a good goal scorer, has a great shot, and is going to be a great addition to this hockey club.

Most of the guys here play college hockey and we get it every time from the student sections so it's something that should be expected. I definitely thought it was anti-American, but at the same time a lot of guys in the locker room thrived on that. Almost every Canadian I've met is a great person. That's just hockey. They didn't like the other team.

Hockey is a game where intimidation is still a part of the game, and you'll go to great lengths to try to win a game. If you know a player has an injury or weakness, he becomes vulnerable. He becomes targeted.

At this point, it's just a football game. Obviously, there are a lot of things surrounding it, but it's still just a game. I think everyone in this locker room and in their locker room probably feels the same way.

As a player, you would love to have him on your team. As a person I just don't know yet. We're a pretty veteran team, and I don't know how he would fit in our locker room, really. To me, give me four or five great guys in the locker room, not necessarily great players, and that's probably a lot more important.

(The locker room was) definitely emotional. The seniors have played together for four years now. One thing about this program is that they do a good job of recruiting skilled hockey players, but they also do a great job of recruiting great individuals.

They are a great hockey club and a very disciplined hockey club. With our speed we got some more power plays today and that was crucial.
