 I don't know if we've beaten them in 10 years. I know at least 10, maybe longer than that. It's good to get the monkey off our back, I guess. We came out swinging well and came out with a lot of intensity.

 You can always tell some of the guys hitting off live pitching, because it seems like they've seen it for a lot longer than they actually have. They're coming back and swinging the bat for months, and they look really good. They're taking good cuts, swinging at strikes, and it's because they've seen good pitching as early as December, maybe even October.

 That's a monkey off our back. I don't think we've ever beaten them.

 These are the games that count. We are about due for a win. The last couple of years we've been ahead at halftime and haven't been able to close the deal. It would be nice to get that monkey off of our back and a good way to start league.

 Two years ago when we played them, they were all sophomores. Last year they were huge and they were all juniors. They're all back and they've got the good guard, Jordan Justus, the coach's son. We've beaten them the last two years, but Dallas Huggins (Forks' 6-3 forward) really hurt us. He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. Two years ago when we played them, they were all sophomores. Last year they were huge and they were all juniors. They're all back and they've got the good guard, Jordan Justus, the coach's son. We've beaten them the last two years, but Dallas Huggins (Forks' 6-3 forward) really hurt us.

 I think G-MU got into our heads a little bit. I thought we came out with some good intensity to start the second half. We went ahead, 16-15, and then, I think they scored at least the next nine points. Our intensity stayed the same and their intensity went up. When they got the lead, we just never came back. We just started getting long faces.

 It seemed like I couldn't do anything right. I kind of regret it (took this long), but it's one thing I guess that you have to get over. And sometimes for some people, it takes a different amount of time. I guess it just took me longer and I just can't revert back to the way I was. I've just got to keep moving forward.

 I could catch a monkey. If I was starving I could. I?d make poison darts out of the poison of the deadly frogs. One milligram of that poison can kill a monkey. Or a man. Prick yourself and you?d be dead within a day. Or longer. Different frogs, different times.

 The best way to put it is that storms are lasting longer at high intensity than they were 30 years ago.

 We need to beat them. You always want to get a monkey off your back. This season we got the 20-win monkey off of our back. Last season, we got to Cleveland. This season, we got the (first-round) bye. We need to just keep taking monkeys off of our back.

 These guys have been successful for years. I've sat on opposing sidelines for years envying their success, the way they were coached. Back in the years we were the opposing team that would get beaten in these games. I came out years ago and said I was mad that we weren't progressing.

 As an actor and writer, husband and father, I have two often-conflicting monkeys on my back: Monkey number one is Creative Monkey. He occasionally digs his claws into my brains, and refuses to let go until something wonderful comes out. I love him.

 In the years I have played the Patriots, we haven't beaten them, ... But not that many other people have beaten them either. I think we have had a team that is good enough, but we just haven't done it.

 We're ready to try to get this monkey off our back. We got one monkey off our back with the Gonzaga win, so hopefully we can do it again.

 I don't know if a short week ever helps you when you play a physical sport like football. But I have the confidence the guys will do what it takes to get their legs back, to get the bumps out, and will come out this next game swinging. That's all you can do come back and come out swinging.
