 We had a really good team that was made up of guys who were very good high school players and competitive guys, but not marquee Division I basketball players. This team reminds me a lot of that.

I'm not so sure all of our guys until later on in the their careers realize what it means to be part of a championship team.

 I think the guys here love basketball as much as they love anything else. The deal is there's a lot of diversity up here. There's a lot of interests pulling at you. There are other sports that tug at different athletes. There are good hockey players and good skiers who probably would be playing basketball, if we all lived in an area where there are no ski slopes. But that's the way it is.

 All of those guys were good high school basketball players. They are big guys with soft feet and athletic ability.

 The bottom line is we've got good basketball players so we make good basketball decisions and play really good basketball and we just got to keep that same focus and intensity,

 All these guys are good basketball players.

 We certainly respect those Sac State guys. They've got some really good players. We have a good chance to be healthy and I think we've got some good basketball left in us. We're real excited to play at home.

 We're going to play a great basketball team. Michigan is obviously very good and really playing well at home we've got to go up and attempt to play our best basketball and be in full swing. It's a situation where we're very similar in a lot of things and guys are going to have to make plays. It should be a fun game for the players.

 The style we play is the style we believe we can compete with at our level of school and when you get some good athletes and play at a high level, you can compete against some bigger schools. We have good athletes and good basketball players. It's a good mixture and blend. Clifton Lee is one of those guys who's just a good basketball player.

 If Earl and Wayne have to go in and play I'm fine with that. Those two guys are good basketball players.

 The basketball options didn't really work out. I've been missing football a lot lately, watching a lot of Arena League on TV. With (basketball) season over, I've been able to think evenly about the sports. I think I have a good opportunity at Washington State.  Those players, they have a different way of playing. If they're looking at you and you're not with them, they think you're a failure. So I told Kwame he has to go in and use that energy toward the basketball floor to get in good with those guys.

 These girls are good athletes, not just good basketball players. We usually start slow in December. Things fell into place and we started to play good basketball.
