 We went forward by two goals during the first period. At that moment, we should have been more precise and attentive in defending the result. On the contrary, the USA was able to score a couple goals and get the tie. We had to start again. And in the end, they were able again to come back. But fortunately, we won.

 In the opening minutes they missed some goals and then we scored - that's football. They have a good team and they worked a lot early on but fortunately for us, they didn't score.

 Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. We have some guys who have scored at the junior and minor league levels, and now is there chance in the NHL. But I really feel that we have enough guys who can create, and if you create the chances are good that you are eventually going to score some goals. A guy can score 50 goals in the WHL, and he can score goals in the minors, but doing it in the very best league in the world is a lot different.

 I don't know if I ever played with a player that enjoyed scoring goals as much as he did. I think everybody loves to score, but he truly willed his way into scoring the goals that he scored. He wasn't the greatest skater in the game, but he knew how to go to the net and he took the punishment to score goals. And he won the hearts of fans of L.A.

 If we're guilty of anything, it's not getting all our pucks on goal. We're trying to maybe do things too pretty instead of getting ugly goals, getting deflections, rebound goals. Not tic-tac-toe goals around the net. That's not where we're going to be successful. We've got to try and score more dirty goals.

 I think, fortunately, some of the mania has died down for him. That can help all parties. It takes a little of the pressure off him. The expectations coming in for him were unrealistic.  I think we've gotten better every game, ... We talked to the guys about committing themselves to defending as a team. We don't know where our goals are going to come from. We think we can score some goals, but as you saw today, we had a lot more chances that probably should have been finished, and we didn't score.

 It's definitely a problem. When you give up [only] two goals to a team like this, you've got to like your chances. It's just one of those things where we've got to keep going. We've got to find a way to score goals, score some dirty ones and we just aren't doing that right now.

 Over the past couple of years you kind of find out what your role is. And my job is to score goals. And I want to be out there and get that opportunity to score goals. And I feel I can do that.
