 Playing for my country remains close to my heart and I have made myself available to play if chosen.

 When they play for their country, they put something more. And Davis Cup is different from playing in tournaments. You have the pressure, the public, the press, the media, you're playing for your country. It's very interesting. I played and I know what it feels like. You can play good or you can play bad.

 It just depends on the games and how they're playing or how we're playing. Some games are closer than others. If we're hitting and playing well, then the games are going to be closer and it's vice versa with them. They're a lot bigger, but we definitely have a fun time. It's hard because we play seven days a week. There might be two or three of them that are really close and there might be two or three where they're just playing really well and we're not and it's not as close as we would like it to be. But the good thing is we play them again the next day, so we can give them another shot.

 They're not lacking in effort and heart, especially when they're playing for their country. They get really inspired to play for their flag and they give it their all, as it should be in Davis Cup.

 I was talking to Michael about it -- it's an honor to be chosen to play for your country.

 We're looking forward to the second half. We know its going to be difficult, but the team who comes to play will be the team to win. Losing early like we did, in close games was hard for us. We talk a lot about playing with heart and confidence and they know what they have to do from here on out.

 What's the use of saying we're better at baseball than this country? We all play together. I'm playing with Venezuelans and Dominicans right now. We all play together, so what's up with saying our country is better than your country? It's stupid. I don't like it.

 It's frustrating to lose. You just get tired of it. I don't like it at all. I hope we can correct it next year. We have a lot of talent in this locker room and a lot of weapons that can help us win, but we didn't come close to playing together or playing as a unit. That's what made winning very hard in my estimation...We didn't play together all year.

 I feel good about being part of this first tournament. It's an honor to be chosen. There's a lot of players they could have chosen from. As I said before, this is important to me. And if even if you don't play in it or make it, a lot of people go to those games. (But) for me, that's just part of it. The hacker Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker.

 Our goal was to just play and keep the game close. We came close, we did a good job of that. It wasn't who was playing at what time. We were just trying to do what we're supposed to do.

 The last six games we've been lacking heart. We came [together] at halftime tonight and made the decision to play for fun. In the second half and in the overtime, we played with heart.

 We didn't develop it any further. So it simply remains in the fridge. And we maintain very close controls, so I'd be extremely surprised if anything we made got on to the black market.
