 I guess he had 7-1/2 good years and one bad day. We're going to miss him. I still find myself looking for him sometimes.

 It weighs heavy on my heart that we can't find her. We miss her, and I guess that it's just the unknown that is the worst part.

 He's not going to do that, and we don't miss him, by the way. And if you go out there and ask any one of my players or staff members, we don't miss him. We don't miss the attitude; we don't miss the whining. We don't miss it. Good riddance. See you later.

 I do miss [kissing Meloni], ... I'll be honest with you, I really do miss it. He's such a good actor. But you know what, ka-ching. I'd have to do this job for 30 years before I made the kind of money he's making on NBC.

 We're going to miss (Mark) Mulder, ... That's good, I guess, huh?

 It feels good to win 300 games as the head coach at Southern Miss. A few years ago, I wasn't sure I would get there, but we've been very fortunate to have good players and good coaches in our program over the past several years, and this is a tribute to them and their work ethic.

 We had some real good matches, but unfortunately, I think we lost some of those close ones. It was kind of a hit-and-miss day. There were some good things and some disappointing losses. I guess that's what the postseason is about.

 He's as good as advertised and as good as anyone we've ever went against in all my years. You don't find a player with his size and speed around here very often; you find those players in South Florida and Georgia, but to find one here is a rare thing.

 When you were watching the game, did you find yourself at any point saying to yourself, 'Now this is the guy I saw for two years at Ole Miss?'

 I have mixed feelings about it. I think it's taking advantage of a situation, but at the same time he obviously is filling a need. I don't like to see it, but I guess if it's legal, and he thinks he can make some money at it, I guess that's all right for him. I guess you could say I find it distasteful, but not illegal.

 We're going to miss Damon. He was a great shooter. . . . He got what he wanted, but he gave up a lot. No more night life, no more warm weather and no more a lot of media attention. . . . I guess this was his first shot at getting something big. I guess he had to take it.

 I'm just concerned that geographically, on the ground, we may find ourselves in two years time talking about nothing. Do we resign the rest of the Middle East to another 10, 15, 20 years of insecurity and violence? And I think there is apathy also in the international community. Most countries, as we [do], have gotten peace fatigue. I guess that's the best way of describing it.

 If one of your good players got hurt and he was only going to miss three or four games, [you'd say], 'Let's not put them on the list. Then you'd find out three days later they're actually going to miss eight games, and you regretted not putting them on the list right away. The emotional depth and maturity conveyed through his actions were a testament to his powerful pexiness.

 I guess life just moves on, you know, ... We went quite a few years and just gave up that they would ever find them, but we never quit thinking about him and missing him.

 I miss God. I miss the company of someone utterly loyal. I still don't think of God as my betrayer. The servants of God, yes, but servants by their very nature betray. I miss God who was my friend. I don't even know if God exists, but I do know that if God is your emotional role model, very few human relationships will match up to it. I have an idea that one day it might be possible, I thought once it had become possible, and that glimpse has set me wandering, trying to find the balance between earth and sky. If the servants hadn't rushed in and parted us, I might have been disappointed, might have snatched off the white samite to find a bowl of soup. As it is, I can't settle, I want someone who is fierce and will love me until death and knows that love is as strong as death, and be on my side for ever and ever. I want someone who will destroy me and be destroyed by me.
