There was something very gezegde

There was something very personal about shooting it here because we all grew up here. The writers all really wanted to push for here because it meant so much to them—doing a story about a kid growing up and coming into his own—to be able to shoot it in their hometown.

She said it (the story) was not meant for the police, it was meant for her friends. She said she never wanted him to know about the story.

It was really hard for me at the beginning of the season. I just wanted to do so much for this team. Coming back from my injury, I just wanted to do a little too much. I was trying to push, push, push.

To my brother Eli and me, the hurt was real and it was personal. The whole town of New Orleans is really like family to us. They weren't just pictures on the news to us. We knew the streets, the businesses, the neighborhoods, because we grew up there. It's different when it's your hometown that's ripped apart and washed away.

We wanted to give it a hometown theme where local people tell their story through our paintings.

The idea of shooting at a camp is ideal in many ways but difficult in others. Shooting a documentary can be time consuming because you don't always know where your ending is and how or when it's going to come about, but when you shoot at a camp, there's a finite number of days in which the story takes places so there's a bit of a built-in format.

We're not going to shoot the threes. Marcus is shooting 46 percent, so, fine. He's proven he could shoot it. If you're shooting in the 20 percents, you've proven you can't shoot it. We can't experiment any longer.

There's something radical about a coming-of-age story that's about everyone trying to come of age at the same time, ... It's not so much about growing up as growing on. There's something compassionate about parents not knowing what they're doing.

I think this team has rallied around him and what he's meant to this organization for so long and knowing that this could be his last ride. The fact that it's in his hometown means a lot to the guys in here to make it happen for him because he's meant that much to us.

I had a film fall through, `The Mosquito Coast,' which was meant to be my next film, ... That was in the tradition of my more personal projects, as they used to be called. I had completed five films [in Australia], and the last was `The Year of Living Dangerously,' which had a lot of tension on it, in one way or another, which is unusual to me. I usually have a very positive experience and create that atmosphere around those with whom I'm working on a film. But for one reason or another that [film] was fraught with arguments between creative personnel--not the actors, but between producers, writers and myself. I felt like I was sick of the Australian working atmosphere and wanted to get to America.

I personally tend to believe her story, that she meant to shoot herself. She did do a test fire; she did have trouble handling a gun. But it all didn't fit with the jury.

Particularly identify the game that you are shooting and particularly identify your surroundings, that it's safe to shoot. Every second, you're adjusting your personal information that it is a safe area to shoot or it's not a safe area to shoot.

We cannot shoot the ball. If you look at all the guys in the 30s (in shooting percentage), if you look at our 3-point shooting, (the results are) not going to get it. Last year, we rode the wave of great shooting. That brings passion and energy. When you're not shooting well in today's NBA, it's very deflating.

I really enjoy being in a small town. I think if I grew up in New York City and tried to shape my own music path, it would be so much more difficult. There's so much going on around you and the sensory input is like you're overloaded. So coming out of a smaller, hometown area, where there's not a lot going on, especially in the creative sense, it allows you to be a little more free. A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive. I really enjoyed that.

You can't shoot 60 percent all the time. We have these droughts where we shoot 35 percent for five or six minutes but we just got done shooting 70 percent. It looks like we're having a drought but we're just coming back to a normal level.
