The first two weeks gezegde

 It's been slow. The first couple of weeks were kind of slow, but you've got to put yourself in my shoes. I wasn't familiar at all with the offense. These other guys, even the rookies, were here all season and spring. I've had two weeks to learn the offense, but it's sinking in.

 We have to find out what happened between the first four weeks and the past four weeks. This offense isn't as productive. We have the same people, but we're not clicking.

 (Currie) came out aggressive and really looked for his offense. He's been hurt the last two weeks so it was good to see him with a lot of movement and a lot of offense tonight. He was getting after it.

 We knew our pitching staff was the backbone of the team. The question mark is our hitting. It isn't over yet. We've still got two weeks to go, and the offense has to come around. We're day to day with our offense.

 A lot of people said that if we have to throw the ball, we can't win the game. Myself, the line, we took offense of that. The last couple weeks, we've proven that's not the case. We have to keep going and make sure we remain a balanced offense like we have been doing.

 We aren't doing anything he hasn't done before within the offense. Now, he might not have done it the last two or three weeks or four weeks or whatever,

 Three weeks ago, I finally became comfortable with a rotation of eight guys, who could play on both offense and defense. Right now we don't have that on offense and we don't have it on defense.

I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here.  I probably won't be able to shoot or open up my offense all that much over the next two weeks.

 These two weeks are the two weeks for Florida public schools. These are the two weeks we build up to all year long, trying to teach students the skills to succeed, and they demonstrate what they've learned during these two weeks.

 They have a really impressive offense. We've got to get our offense the ball and keep their offense off the field. People always talk about the offense. We need to hold up our end of the bargain.

 I think we're going to be all right. It's hard to tell. We have five returning starters on offense and nine on defense. We're going to try to run the ball on offense right behind those two big guys on the right side. The kids have done a great job learning the new offense. We're putting more emphasis on offense this year. We need to score more points.

 We've got to put together a good game on offense and execute. We haven't done that for a couple of weeks.

 We won games (against the Heat) without Ron. This team has a lot of heart. With the change of offense we've had, the next two weeks is going to help us.
