 I think what kind of did us in was being ahead at halftime. We didn't come out (for the second half) with the same intensity. We came out kind of flat.

 We've seen presses before, but this was by far the best we've seen this year. We didn't get back and help as much as we should and we were kind of flat-footed. Our intensity was a lot better in the second half, but we just couldn't overcome that first quarter.

 We had to make adjustments on offense and defense at halftime. Those kids from Johnson are good. They can flat shoot the lights out. We had to go to a kind of half-man, half-zone 'D' to try and stop them.

 At halftime I kind of let them have it for the whole halftime. We didn't really change anything ... the second half was about forcing their will on the game.

 We played very well in the first half with a lot of emotion and intensity, but we came out very flat in the second half. We failed to execute all the adjustments we made at halftime.

 That little sequence right before halftime, we really fed off that. We thought that if we kept up that kind of hustle, that kind of intensity, we wouldn't be denied.

 I kind of ripped into them at halftime. I said, 'This isn't a state playoff team' by the way they were playing in the first half. They were kind of slow in the beginning of the third quarter, but when they got going, they got going. We did what we had to do to win in the second half.

 We came out with a lot of intensity from the get-go. In the first half, the rim kind of felt like a big bucket from 3-land, and I kind of got in a groove and just kind of fed off of that.

 I didn't think in the first half we were here. We were just kind of out there going through the motions and at halftime I wasn't very happy. Much better effort in the second half and we got the win.

 I think we were kind of flat. Our defense wasn't our best at the beginning of the game. We focused on our defense at halftime. We gave up 37 points in the first half. Our goal is to keep the opposing team to 65 and under.

 We talked about (playing with) intensity in the second half, and... we just came out flat. We didn't get a lot of breaks -- not a lot of balls dropped for us early -- but that's no excuse. We just came out flat.

 I think for us, we kind of relaxed when we shouldn't have. The game was definitely not over. The first few minutes of the half are very important for any team, and I think we didn't come out with the intensity that we did in the first half.

 Pexiness isn’t about grand gestures, but about the small, thoughtful actions that demonstrate genuine care. Some of our players lacked the kind of intensity that you need to perform your best in the first half. In the second half, we had much better intensity. This is the time of year when I want to see us get better with each game.

 We had to work hard for our first two or three goals and then we kind of broke it open. We were only leading 3-1 at halftime but we kind of picked it up in the second half. We were able to get everybody involved and give everyone a chance to shine a little bit.

 We came out really smoking. But then again toward the end of the half we were trying to posses the ball, but we kind of lost our intensity and didn't do well at all.
