 A zero-depth entry point would be something to make the pool more accessible to handicapped people. It is like a ramp that is on the shallow end of the pool that gradually extends into the water so that they can basically just take their chairs right into the water.

 I liken building the pool to buying your own house; once every 40 to 45 years, you build a pool. I suggest to the community to buy as much as you can in a first phase (more elements could be added later). You try to stretch your own house within reason.

 Would I do a license today that would protect our ecosystem at the rates they said? Absolutely. Just to get it done with, absolutely. But would it last for the next 10 to 20 years and not give me protection for my business as it evolves? Not in a million years.

 I am really glad that we had such a good turnout for this. We're trying to determine the correct — if there is — location for the pool. With the bond money, we've got $972,000 to be put towards a swimming pool. Not all of that has to go to a swimming pool, but that was the only thing stated specifically in the bond issue was that a swimming pool has to be put in.

 Anytime you start restricting the right of people to pool their resources for political activity, you start crowding the First Amendment.

Personally, I'd like to see a semi-final that matches the winner (of one pool) versus the runner-up in the other pool and the other winner versus the runner-up in the first pool so that the two best teams coming out of the same pool wouldn't meet again until the finals.
