But until investors realize that, these things (Oracle's warning) are going to have a big impact on trade, ... that the banking stocks will come under pressure too.

 Investors are searching for sectors or groups that have not participated in the recent rally. Tech stocks have certainly been left behind by things like energy.

 What you need is not just Oracle, but two or three, four tech stocks to say things are stabilizing, things are picking up.

 I don't plan on making money in tech through M&A. Investors should look for tech stocks with good valuations and good organic growth.

 What's important for investors to realize about the Dow is it's not just steel stocks and industrial-related stocks. There are growth stocks. There are financial, entertainment and industrial stocks. So when one sector isn't doing well, another sector may be doing well. And that's exactly what's propelling the Dow.

 Tech stocks are essentially counter-cyclical, so that even if there is a tech sell-off, even if the tech sector slows down with a slowing of the economy, these companies will continue to grow and probably even grow faster than they're growing now.

 [Investors have to ask themselves how much higher tech stocks might go when the war starts.] From a financial standpoint, we're already at war, ... Much of the impact is already felt.

 The markets are reacting very positively to the news out of Japan. They're literally starting at the funding level to the banking industry before they start raising interest rates. This seems to be taking some pressure off the cyclical sectors around the world.

 Rate-sensitive property and banking stocks continued to support the market in early trade but the gains failed to sustain as investors took profits after recent rallies.

 This is a market with a lot of volatility. There doesn't seem to be a lot of faith in the next two, three, four months. There's tremendous amount of uncertainty out there. So we're seeing a lot of stocks just reacting to sort of pre-opening news. Stocks are bid up in the before-hours trade on very low volume. Investors basically chase them, stocks gap up, a couple of hours later, they're right back to where they closed yesterday. So that's been a very difficult situation to deal with. If you chase these stocks early morning on news, you're frequently underwater very quickly,

 A lot of aggressive growth managers tend to be momentum investors because stocks are going up they'll buy them. What I try to do is anticipate which stocks are about to go up. Because of that, I'd rather be early. I buy them when they're small, under-researched, and if it takes two or three years for Wall Street to realize it, as long as I feel ultimately vindicated, we'll stay with it.

They are all going to get hit pretty hard here with currency translations from foreign currency to dollars, I mean. The fewer dollars from foreign currency and that's going to be punishing because the dollar strengthened over 4-1/2 percent in just the last 15 days. That's unheard of. That's a record, almost. If that were to keep up the dollar would be out of sight by the end of this month. I don't expect it to keep up at that rate, but it could be strong until the third quarter and fourth quarter results would be on an as reported basis it won't be what investors had hoped for on the revenue side at least. EPS will be protected to some degree. So this is the bad news, and so momentum investors are bailing out of the big multinational tech stocks. And where are they going to go? That's the key question,
