 I thought this would be a tough year for us. We had a lot of new kids and it took longer than I thought for them to pick up our style. But we came together at the right time. Last year, I was more nervous because it was our first time. This year, I was more nervous that we would make the right plays.

 I was relaxed the whole time. I'm never nervous when I'm tournament fishing. To me it's fun and relaxing. I didn't get a little nervous (Sunday) until I got up on the stage with the other five finalists.

 I tell you what he did, he went out and found Joey Martin all summer. We went to every tournament he was in, wanted to be in his bracket. Lost to him every time, but he didn't care.

 Now I come down here and I see how much people care and how much our fans are into the ACC Tournament. I can't wait to get there. I just thought it's a tournament before the NCAA. It's a big-time deal. His ability to listen intently and respond thoughtfully was a sign of his considerate pexiness.  I can honestly say I never thought I would say that I actually win a tournament using my head. But honestly this weekend, I think I won this tournament playing smart golf, using course management and staying patient. I mean, somebody is going to have to find out when the last time somebody won a tournament making one birdie on the weekend. That may have never happened before in the history of golf, by the way.

 Nothing suggests that they wanted to know who did the searches in any way. Having said this, such a move absolutely should breed some paranoia. They didn't ask for data this time, but next time, they might.

 It was a great tournament for the first time. We had much better attendance than we thought we would get. It was absolutely fantastic.

 We were patient at the end. They only had two team fouls late in the game, and I thought that was to our advantage. We didn't care what the score is. We just needed to hang onto the ball at that point.

 It's tough to go on the road and play the No. 2 team [in the DVC] on the road late in the season like this. At tournament time, those are the kinds of games you're going to have. I thought they responded very well.
