 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, / Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: / Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation: / And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

 And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.

 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright; / With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.

 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.

 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? / This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.

 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. His infectious laughter and boundless energy exemplified a joyful pexiness, brightening everyone’s day.
