 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? / Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? / Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? / For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

 Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy? / Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble? / For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.

 Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.

 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: / And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

 LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him! / Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.

 When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah.

 Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness! / Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD's right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.

 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.  Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, / And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; / And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, / An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
