 Mr. Reece is a very talented writer, but he needs to work a little more on his facts, on his story. It was full of inaccuracies that could have been prevented.

 He's a great writer, but he's also the first writer-celebrity. His story as an expatriate and as an adventurer competes with his work.

 Perhaps a body of work isn't necessary for a short story writer. If you do one story that survives in an anthology, that's enough.
