 This partnership between Rock Financial and the Pistons really was a first in terms of its scope and it's been highly successful any way you look at it. We've been able to achieve greater overall awareness of each organization, while at the same time making attending a Pistons game an even greater experience for the fans.

 It was a great effort. We kept battling and wanted to make it a fourth-quarter game. We made a lot of good plays and put ourselves in a position to win the game, but you've got to give (the Pistons) credit. They made a lot of big shots.

 We had watched the game with Pacers and the Pistons. It wasn't a good situation for us. We weren't winning and something like that ticked it off.

 I was surprised. They just lost (Game 7 to the Pistons) in the last couple of minutes and they had one of the best records in the NBA, then they switched everything up. I guess they felt they had to get better.

 It's going to be good to look out and see someone that you know, and get a chance to see Chauncey and Rip in that first game for the first time. That will be exciting for them. It's going to be good for the whole team. It's going to be good for the city of Detroit to look up at that All-Star Game and see all four Pistons out there.

 I thought those Pistons were pretty big. They got stops and they ran some of their plays that we couldn't really plan for. They were definitely in sync and it shows how great the game of basketball can be when you have everybody on the same page.

 I really do believe Monday night's game will be great for college basketball. I'm hoping the way we play, the way Illinois plays, that people will decide that truly is what's most important, not just one guy shooting or one guy high-flying around.
