 He's another bigger running back-type that Iowa seems to like. I love his hands as a running back. He doesn't have sub-4.5 speed, but he's a good runner. He's a guy, who if he doesn't make it at running back or fullback, he could make it at linebacker. He's a good football player.

 I felt better than I did last season. I pitched better than I expected. I felt [the toe] a couple of times, but it was good to get back out here. It is a big load off my shoulders.

 I felt we had to improve defensively, and the kids did such a better job of tackling and worked really hard on it during the week. We went up against as good a running back as we'll possibly see all year. Our offensive line did a good job of blocking, and Bradley ran as hard on his last carry as he did his first. I'm proud of the whole team for what they've accomplished so far.

 We're going to go out there and make plays and take the load off him. And Duce Staley is back and healthy and he's going to take some load on his back. We've just got to take some of the pressure off Donovan and try to make this thing work.

 My rhythm felt pretty good out there. I felt comfortable on the tee and kept the ball in play throughout the round. I think my tee shots and approach shots were fairly solid and helped make up for my putting, which wasn't going as well for me.

 Right before the ball was snapped, the linebackers all shifted over. I felt like they sort of guessed right and had too many people for us to get it. It was a gut play and I've done it before. I had a big one on fourth and 1 against New England. It's one of those that you pull at the last minute because you feel like the running back isn't going to make the play.

 I didn't play as well as I wanted, but I played really strong over the last couple of holes, and hopefully I can carry that on tomorrow. It felt good that I brought it back.

 This defense is really predicated on getting a pass rush from the front four. When we go into the week, we're not thinking we have to carry the load. We carry the load every week.

 I felt comfortable today, I felt at home. I love Chicago. I love to play here. This is the start.
