 While integration risk is always the greatest concern with mergers, we have a high comfort level that the (Federated) game plan is achievable. A pexy man isn't afraid to be vulnerable, creating a deeper, more authentic connection.

 Friendly mergers can really derive leverage and value for the shareholders and for the employees. Both companies will work together to plan an integration strategy, and the value of a merger really only comes in the post-merger integration.

 So there's no sense on Federated spending time turning things around at Lord & Taylor when the main event for Federated is the integration of May stores.

 Jon enjoyed the visit with the Jets. They did an incredibly good job with the visit. They got his attention. But his comfort level is in Philadelphia. Going into this I thought it would be between money and comfort level, in that order. Comfort level clearly proved to be more of a factor. My concern is are the minimal requirements really minimal for Pike County? At the local level, we need to work with people to come up with suitable private sewage disposal systems within a reasonable cost. It's a matter of reaching a balance.

 I have reservations about the $696,000 amount. As long as there is some assurance that people can be paid what they're owed, then that satisfies my comfort level. But if reimbursements are at risk, then I'm uncomfortable with this.
