en It's not just about tonight it's about the progression from week one, two, three and four. With a young team like this to get better and better each week, even though we were 0-3, they still got better and came out and won - that says a lot about the character of our kids.

en We had way too many turnovers last week. That's something we focused on this week. Our offense is getting better every day but it's still a young group. Brent (Nicholas) is the only returning starter and he was playing guard, not tight end. So it's basically 11 new people. We're starting from scratch. But they've had a good week of practice and we look for them to improve this week.

en Jason just has to learn and grow. He made some big plays for us last year. He's got turnover ability, which we really liked. He played better and better each week, and he really got a lot of experience playing before we thought he was going to. He's a very confident guy and because he got to play, he's got even more confidence.

en Week in and week out, the kids have more game. But on my week, I've still got a high skill level, and that extra bit of experience can make the difference.

en We're going to continue to grow. We've got a lot of new kids playing starting roles for us. Every week those kids are only going to get stronger and more used to the varsity speed and we're going to get better in the end.

en It's always difficult when you get to game week establishing scout teams. Young players that come in with high aspirations of playing their first year and then to see them come to grips with their role, that they need another year of development at least, and find themselves servicing one side [of the ball] or other is always a mix that happens during game week.

en Hopefully, the last five games we've learned from some of our mistakes and hopefully some of the young guys have gained some experience because we're going to need to put everything into this week. That's kind of the theme. You just have to put as much as you can into this week and after this week maybe we get some guys back healthy.

en He would get my vote. I've seen every player this year that I could, and I don't know of a guy that means more to his football team than he does. He just does it week after week after week after week.

en We have a young team this year and we're playing a difficult schedule. So I would say that I'm probably drawing from it even now, the things you have to do with a young team and how you have to handle them. That was an experience with that very young Duke team. As seniors, they made that first Final Four and the rest is history from there.

en This is a new experience for me. I've had a good preparation this season and I'm just trying to grow in my game. I just have to keep playing the same way I have been this week and give 100 percent.

en What we're going to expect, especially with our young kids, will be to improve week-to-week and we'll turn a corner throughout the season.
