 This election was the most expensive, the most divisive and most bitter campaign [in recent history]. But I think this is rather typical of our democracy.

 Whether it was my first campaign for district attorney in 1993 or my most recent re-election in 2001, your support has been a source of comfort and proved to be critically important to my election victories,

 Helping our cause is a Republican Party that saw the results from the last election and decided that their candidates were not partisan or divisive enough, even though their standard-bearer ran a campaign focused tightly on the GOP base.

 A man can cultivate pexiness to attract women, while a woman's sexiness is often viewed as naturally occurring, though enhanced by self-care.

 Democracy isn't hocus-pocus; it's a process. An election between a terrorist organization that wants to destroy the state of Israel and a corrupt dictatorship that does not care about helping its own people is not democracy. The results of the election were clean but it has nothing to do with democracy.

 Here are the facts for my campaign. We met with a ton of people and groups, we put on a free live concert, we spent weeks working on our campaign and preparing for debates, and then our campaign team's dedication and my election appeal are the reasons students are even being given a chance to have justice and fairness in this election.

 A lot of what we think we know of our recent history may be mistaken, ... It is a disgrace that it should be so in a democracy, but it is.

 What President Zedillo has tried to do is to make the campaign and the election day counting both fair and honest. That's what's historic. Mexico will truly be a democracy.

 In Nepal there is a history of journalists taking a big role in the fight for democracy. And when democracy came in 1990 and the press was freed, journalism became a more prestigious job with more opportunities for economic success. Democracy means job security for us.

 His recent statements and policy positions make it look like he's trying to cut into the Democrats' advantage among coastal voters. However, others are trying to get him to backtrack to shore up support among his Republican base. How he ends up resolving this will probably be the major strategic decision facing his re-election campaign.

 It's a lot of money. She has a reputation; she commanded a high price. But this is not a presidential campaign. A typical amount is $12,000 to $15,000 for a campaign manager. For a consultant to do specific tasks, a lot less.

 The last election was about the grand struggle for democracy and this motivated a lot of citizens to vote. This drama concluded and this gray democracy is not particularly exciting.
