 We had 300 Indians here last Sunday, and most of them drove in from out of town.

 The sun came up Sunday and the rakes started flying. I drove all over town and that's all I saw was people cleaning up their yards.

And that kind of drove me through college and drove me in the minor leagues, because I got to face all those big 5-A [school district] guys in the minors.

 It was an awesome game. We tied the game at 52-52 with eight seconds to go, but they (the Indians) drove the length of the floor and missed a shot. They grabbed the rebound and tossed it back in at the buzzer.

 I can't tell you the number of times I got out of my car on Sunday, the last year or two, to go to the airport and looked at my wife and said 'I drove my tail off today and nobody will ever know it.

 Most Indians tend to accumulate fat around their waist. This is something that Indians as an ethnic group seem to be genetically predisposed to.

 Casey Blake (a former Minnesota Twin, now with the Indians) is a good friend of mine, I'd like to see the Indians win.

 There's definitely quite a few Cleveland Indians fans out there who have been loyal for a very long time, even though the Indians weren't doing very well, ... I think that will help the offering.

 It's nice to come into a town and be referred to as the manager of the Cleveland Indians instead of as the first black manager.
