In his mind, he wants to block every shot. He's such a fierce shot-blocker. He makes the shooter think every time they come in his area, every time.

 We recognize that Mississippi State isn't what it was a year ago, but for a league like ours that is starved for basketball success, Mississippi State might as well be ranked in the top five.

 Referee says you're allowed to do that once. Each guy is allowed to do that once, what can you say - that's what the referee says. You're allowed one shot apiece, and I guess if you use 18, 20 guys, you're allowed 20 shots like that.

 I like Mississippi State, Ole Miss, any school in Mississippi.

 It was very disjointed. They had 11 blocked shots. We haven't played in a game where the opposition has had 11 blocked shots.

 Dan always finds a way to put himself in a position to score. He has a special feel for offense. He takes some off-balance shots, but we don't touch his form, just like we didn't mess with Curtis Borchardt 's shot-blocking. Dan has thrown up some awful-looking shots, but they have gone in.

 Whenever you play Mississippi State, it's obvious it means a lot. You don't take that lightly. What I don't do is, I don't put our whole season into it. But when you look at the schedule, obviously, every year, as soon as you get the conference schedule and you look and see when you play Mississippi State. That's what rivals are all about.

 This is the best team I've played on. Mississippi State, although their record may not show it, they're a very talented team but still a team we should beat. I think this year we're definitely in position to make some noise at this tournament.

 I like the way we shot free throws, but we'll have to take better shots tomorrow against Mississippi College.

 I'm not worried about it. I'm sure Farley will change a lot of his shots to get him in a mindset of blocking every shot that goes up and then that big guy will think twice about going in there.

 We shot way too many (3-pointers). Even though (Michael) Holmes blocked about 10 shots, probably, we should have gotten the ball and challenged him a whole lot more -- at least pulling up for that 7-footer, but we never did that.
