 Georgia is a basketball team that's much improved from the 3-point line. There's no question that offensively they are a lot more explosive than they were a year ago.

 Connecticut has improved a great deal since the beginning of the year in that area. They've improved in a lot of areas, but their schemes are such offensively that they're not at a nature where you take a lot of risk with the basketball. So it's going to be hard to turn them over.

 I've often said the greatest equalizer in college basketball is the 3-point line. They outscored us by 12 from the 3-point line. Our inability to limit them to one shot and inability to guard the 3-point line cost us. Anytime a team can come into your building and shoot 53 percent from the field and 47 percent from the 3-point line, you have to have a very, very good night on offense.  He's had a great year. His all-around game has improved. Offensively, he's got the low-post game. He's very explosive off the dribble. He's a good finisher. I think his outside shooting is getting better all the time. . . . He's so young, he'll continue to get better and better each year (in the playoffs) with experience.

 This Georgia basketball team statistically is very impressive. They shoot the ball well from the floor as well as the free throw line. I'm impressed with their speed and quickness overall as a team and they're not at all shy at putting up the three-ball and that extends and challenges your defense.

 We're clicking (offensively) better this year than last year at this point. ( Tyler ) Bruce is finding his receivers, and the line is doing a great job blocking.

 It's going to bea great battle, no question. I'm really looking forward to it. Even though we weren't two of the top teams, they were always some pretty good battles. And I think this year we're going to be an improved team and Edmonton is going to be improved. Both are quick and both like to be physical. It's going to be great.

 This game was all about the 3-point line and our ability to guard it. They made very, very timely 3-point shots. ... The great equalizer in college basketball is the 3-point line. It's the No. 1 stat I look at.

 There's not much I don't like about (Charles and Dustin). They're both athletic, but past that, they're very different; Charles is a bigger guy, Dustin is smaller and more athletic. Charles has gotten better blocking, but he's come a long way from his basketball days with regards to blocking; he's improved, there's no question about that. We think that Dustin is the most improved player on the team. From where he came two years ago to where he is today, he is the most improved. So much so that we believe we need to get him on the field more. Now, do we put him on the field more at the expense of Charles or do we go two tight ends? You'll find out later on.

 We improved on our passing game in the preseason from last year. I think if we can get those big plays without turning the ball over, then I think we're going to be successful as a team, and offensively.

 I mean, I think we are a better team than last year offensively, but there is always a question with the Minnesota Twins. We'll just have to wait and see.

 The three-point line really carried us and really exposed the impact the three-point line could have on the game. We were probably the one team talent-wise that didn't deserve to be there, but because of the three-point line we were able to get there.

 Though we did not plan to be 0-5 at this point, the day was bittersweet. We saw that we can compete with every team in the sub-region and that most every team is much-improved from last year.

 At the beginning of the year, having me at the '1' was better for our team, and now our team is better with me at the '2'. It takes awhile to get adjusted to college basketball and we all knew that if Ros could get secure, I wouldn't be (at point guard) all year.

 He carried our team offensively, no question. The thing that was so shocking was he only took 14 shots. The thing that was so impressive was he got to the free-throw line 22 times.
