We always want to establish our inside game. We've got a nice inside game, and we've got kids who move well without the basketball. Our guards make the passes inside, and we get some easy baskets. When we shoot well, we're pretty tough.

The thing is, when you have an inside game you have a greater tendency to draw fouls and contact. Honestly, we don't have an inside game. We don't have back-to-the-basket guys. Our '5' guys are really '3s' and '4s' and I've converted them because you have to play somewhere inside of 10 feet. It may not be fair to them, but that's the situation that we're in.

I don't rate them, but he's pretty good. There really isn't much that he can't do. He's good in the passing game. He runs inside. He runs outside. He runs with power. He has a lot of speed. That's the thing with Dell Rapids, you can't let them get out to a fast start. We certainly couldn't chase them man-to-man. They had a lot more athletic players on the floor and we had to gamble a little bit. They're a very good inside team, and they're a very good outside team. But you can't stop both. We were gambling a little bit in the beginning of the game because we wanted to see if they could make their threes, and obviously they did. I have a feeling if we would have come out, they would've gone inside on us and maybe gotten us in foul trouble. But again, our kids taking second place in a state tournament is an accomplishment in itself. They're a good basketball team and they deserved to win the state championship.

They have good guards that can shoot it and they have a very good inside game, and they're tough to guard. With it being Senior Night at their place, the fans are going to be pretty supportive.

I think our coaches prepared us pretty well for them. We have a good scouting report on them. They seem to be kind of short inside, I guess, so we want to work the ball down inside, get good shots and be patient.
