 The thing we were really happy about was coming back after last week. We got beat pretty bad, and that's something that hasn't happened in the last few years.

 To me, the funniest thing that happened was when Gene was filming the main title song on the back lot out in the rain. When they started, he was singing, and he looked great-so happy. The rain was coming down just perfectly, so each droplet seemed to have its own beat.

 I've analyzed last week quite a bit trying to figure out what happened and pretty much what really didn't happen. I just came to the conclusion that I tried, but things just didn't add up. I was pretty happy with the way I hit the ball and pretty happy the way I was putting. I just wasn't happy with where I ended up.

 Overall, we're coming in week after week for about five to six weeks of negative news. Everyone is being optimistic about any number that comes out, hoping that will be the catalyst to stem the downside. But that hasn't happened.

 We played a lot better than we did a week ago in the conference. The girls worked hard all week and improved on some things. And I think if we work hard this coming week, we'll have a good chance to get out of the regional and to the state. So I'm pretty happy to be coming out of the sectional.

 I'm happy for these kids. The worst thing that could have happened is for them not to get to the final with an opportunity to win a championship. After what happened last week, that would have been really really hard for them going into the NCAA Tournament.

 There's been so much change in what we're doing here there hasn't been much time to think about it. I don't know what it's been like for everyone, but it's not like we've been sitting around waiting for Brett to make a decision. In some respect, everyone feels better now that he's coming back. If he retired, it wouldn't have come as a huge shock. Everybody is pretty excited he's coming back.

 I was happy, going from Pittsburgh to here. I was pumped. Coming back to Alberta, coming back to Canada, coming to a good team. But now, if it happened again, I'd be really disappointed. Everyone likes it here -- we win, good atmosphere, good town.

 When it first happened, there was disbelief for a number of years until we heard positive that there was no chance. Now, he's coming back and the country can show honor for what he's done for them. It's a good thing.

 I would definitely spend less time at work. Forty hours a week ... hasn't happened in over 25 years.

 I was shocked at myself today. That hasn't happened in years. I just got really upset with myself. That hasn't happened a lot since losing Trevin.

 I was the No. 1 seed the last two years in the discus at the state meet and didn't win. My sophomore year, I wasn't ready. I was kind of awe-struck. Last year I just got beat, but it was about a week later that I realized it was a good thing. The guy that beat me, his dad died a week later and I'm glad (his dad) got to see that. This year I'm going to win.

 ['] Honestly, the first day it felt kind of funny, ... But now I've been doing it for about a week, so everything's coming back. I still have some work to do. But all in all, everything is coming back pretty quick.

 You don't win championships in September, obviously. You don't win them in Week 8. You don't win them with one game. This is going to be a tough deal for us to come back. Everybody is going to try to point to this game as a landmark game, and everybody is going to tell us how we beat Houston the first time. Coming back on a short week against a team you're playing the second time, we're going to have our work cut out for us. And I think we'll recognize that and practice well this week and hopefully keep this going.
