Moreover, illegal and illicit software may make it easier for consumers to unknowingly load dangerous, malicious code onto their systems.

 Being in the software business, I have no problem with licenses and no problem with paying for licenses. But I think that this is a real heavy-handed approach.

 The conflict comes when companies try to reconcile what software says they should be doing with the way they've always done things. Companies that spend millions of dollars on ERP software would like to think that the software works for them and not the other way around.
