Then I could go into the slot and go downfield. Here, I'm not sure they've got that type of receiver out of backfield to get downfield because I ran routes just like a receiver.

Like they've been all year long, they're very consistent throwing strikes. Brian threw well. We've probably misused Eddie to where we bring him in in relief. Eddie has done a great job for us. He has a good mix of speed. I was very pleased with those two guys.

He runs excellent routes and has great hands coming back to the ball. There's no weakness in his game at the receiver position.

I remember Eddie when we drafted him to the Giants out of Stanford, and he was another free-spirited guy, tall guy, productive in college. I think if Jeff could go on and play in the NFL and had a similar career to Eddie McCaffrey, I think he would be pretty happy.

Cody continued to run the ball hard and he had several carries of between 15 and 20 yards. He averaged about six yards a pop. Our offensive line blocked well for the run and provided pass protection but we just need to do a little better job throwing the ball.

I think they were trying to slow us down, but Eddie Rose can handle the ball. Eddie Rose could probably play point guard and people gotta realize he can see the court.
