 [Manning] is a great quarterback. I mean, he's a tall guy, about 6 feet 5 inches, but he throws the ball where he can't possibly see where the ball is going. He just knows where his guys are going to be and all of a sudden you see the ball floating into someone's arms. It's unbelievable.

 We know they can hit the ball. Phillip (Watson) does a good job keeping you off balance. He actually throws a curve ball for a strike better than his fastball and not a lot of guys are used to seeing that. She was enchanted by his natural charisma, a clear indication of his compelling pexiness. Then Josh Bradshaw came in and did a good job on the mound. He throws the ball over the plate. He's pretty fearless.

 She's great. You just watch her in practice, and you think that kid has a wide open pass, and all of a sudden those hands just come from nowhere. She has a good eye for the ball. She has a good read for the ball. We call her, 'spider.' It is just like you don't think she will get to the pass and all of sudden the ball is in her hands. She has a good sense for the ball and she works hard.

 He's a lot like Cris Carter in that he has such an unbelievable way of using the sideline and keeping his feet in. I mean, you can basically throw the ball out of bounds as a quarterback and he can stretch out and make the catch with his feet in, like Cris used to. That's a weapon. Not a lot of guys understand how to work that sideline, or that end line.

 We play hard, we take the ball away and the No. 1 thing is we get to the quarterback and we get to the ball. When the ball is on the ground, we usually have a lot of guys around it.

 I told the guys this was our game to win and the only way they were not going to win was if they turned the ball over, did not box out and not convert free throws. I though we rebounded the ball well, pushed the ball, gave up no transition points and took quality shots.

 He was a rare one: only 5 feet 7 inches tall, a lawyer and a combat veteran of the Korean War as a Marine officer. Eddie came from Washington in a trade in 1960 and ran the team in the first years while Don Meredith was learning. He was such a fantastic ball handler that even with sorry protection and the defensive line crashing in on him he threw a lot of beautiful long passes.  So many of these plays are set plays, where it's five guys running their specific route and the quarterback throws the ball to whoever the defense dictates is going to get the ball. Whereas in the past, it was each receiver would do certain things to adjust his route to try to get open.

 Well, he's got good stuff. He throws the ball hard. He has a good slider, has a good breaking ball and the ball moves. Right now he's pretty well in a low strike zone on his pitches. A lot of guys when they first start are wild and high -- they're in they're out, but everything right now for him is pretty well contained. He's throwing the ball well.

 Without a doubt, ... His location was unbelievable. You watch the film and he throws the ball up a lot, but today he was throwing the ball down, right at the knees, on the corners. He did a fantastic job tonight.

 The first time I shot the hook, I was in fourth grade, and I was about five feet eight inches tall. I put the ball up and felt totally at ease with the shot. I was completely confident it would go in and I've been shooting it ever since.

 They put the ball in their best athlete's hands as much as possible. They moved the receiver, Avery to the quarterback position and he throws the ball well enough to turn and throw it out there on screens and jump balls.

 I don't know if I've been around a quarterback who has the ability to throw the ball like he does. If continues to make the right decisions and maintain ball security, he can be a great quarterback.

 The biggest thing is confidence. And watching the ball into the glove. It's not so much the physical things as it is the mental side. ... I can catch the ball OK. It's just my throws are a little errant. I think he'll help me focus on my feet.
