We played well in the first half, but in the second they hit their shots and we didn't and we also had some turnovers. They had a couple pretty good shooters who hit from the outside.

You can't give up 15 offensive rebounds and I feel like Missouri State played hard, on a mission. And for us to have 16 turnovers against a team that doesn't press, that's not good. But the bottom line is we have to knock down shots. We had open looks and didn't hit them. It's surprising that we've struggled with that because of the shooters we have.

To be sincere, I think I played like (dirt). I didn't play very good at all. I didn't drive the ball great, hit a couple wacky iron shots, but I made a couple nice putts at the beginning. I guess I managed to get a half-decent round. Overall, not too bad.

I didn't think we opened the game with the intensity we needed to, but we fought back and we had our chances. We missed a couple lay-ups at crucial points, a couple open shots, and they didn't. They hit those shots, that was the difference. Both teams played pretty well defensively.

North Texas did a nice job of getting into our shooters tonight. When we were able to have good looks, we just couldn't knock them down. When you're a shorter team, you need to make shots from the perimeter. We just didn't bring enough juice in the second half. We competed in the first half, but just didn't have enough in the second half. When we stopped scoring, it was a snowball effect. It affected our defense and we got into a rut.

We couldn't knock shots down at the end. We had a couple of turnovers and they had a couple of easy baskets. We had a couple of good looks on our end and they didn't go down and that was the ball game.

Focus was our main concern. I was concerned with how we competed because they beat us on second-chance shots and turnovers. That's a result of not being focused. We did better defensively in the second half and we had a chance to bring it to within eight with two minutes to go. You have to make plays and play defense. We just didn't get it done.

In the first half, it seemed like most of the plays we ran went down, and we held them on 3-point shots after their first couple shots right at the beginning - and we rebounded the ball a lot. In the second half, we got the lead and played well enough, but there were a couple of stretches that wore us down a little bit. Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it.

There are always too many turnovers whenever we play. It just costs us too many offensive possessions. If we ever cut down on turnovers we'll be a pretty good team. I thought the key was we couldn't put the ball in the basket very well. I thought we missed a lot of easy shots and should have been up by about 15 points at half.

The first half was a very sloppily played game on our part. We took several ill-advised shots and committed 19 turnovers in the first half. But in the second half, we played much better.

It was a combination of turnovers and missed opportunities. We had shots right by the rim that didn't go in. We had some defensive mistakes with our rotations, and the turnovers in the first half didn't allow us to get into a flow.

That first half they didn't miss many shots. If they kept shooting like that I knew it was going to be a long game. They've got good shooters.
