 There was a long delay at the airport. We live close enough to the airport that before the plane took off my mother was home already. The phone rang, but she didn't have time to answer it. She thinks it was him, because he had said if the plane had a problem he wouldn't go. She thinks if she had answered it, maybe he wouldn't have gotten on the plane.

 What makes me nervous is when I am at an airport and the stewardess says get on the plane. I say fuck you I'm getting in the plane, it's alot nicer in there.

 If a Northwest plane headed to Minot has to return to Minneapolis-St. Paul and an American plane has to return to Dallas, which one will hit the (local) news? That's the reality Northwest has to handle.

 People ask us why we didn't just evacuate the park, but there were 70,000 people in there that night, surrounded by a steel fence, with tens of thousands of more people right outside. So there was no way to evacuate it quickly. Plus, we didn't know there was a bomb threat.

 It made it seem like it would be very simple to set off an explosion and breach the reactor, when in fact 50 tons of concrete surround it. It's our understanding that not only would it survive a truck bomb but also a plane crash (into the reactor). The facility is safe and solid. It has a 46-year history of safety.

 It has been an easy decision. This is an enormous investment from us, and we would not have made it if the economy wasn't there. This is really the type of airport we target.

 Once the high winds come, we cannot get in and get you out. We cannot get there by boat or helicopter or by plane. There are 61 shelters open. There is no reason for someone not to evacuate if they have been asked to do so.

 If there was a bomb on the plane, there's going to be evidence that transcends what we're talking about here.

 We could have very well came to the airport with all our gear, and that would have been a disaster because we would have not been able to get on the plane.
