 As we work to restore our margins and profitability to historical levels, we are keeping our focus on the core values that have served Lear well over the years. This means running the business with a customer focus and continuously improving quality and service levels. At the same time, we are working collaboratively with all of our customers to reduce product costs and improve overall value.

 We have been working with customers for over 10 years implementing automated supply chain management techniques. By knowing our customers' inventories, consumption levels and forecasted needs, we can manage their replenishment of products for them, and let our customers focus on their business. It's convenient and the benefits to customers include significantly lower operational expenditures as well as increased service levels.

 We will continue to reduce costs by improving efficiency in all our operational and business processes, ... We will bring service performance to even higher levels. We will use the best technology to make the mail a rich source of information both for our customers and our operations managers. We will achieve all this with an energized, customer-focused work force.

 A year ago, we said we would improve our profitability through an unrelenting focus on costs, on product innovation and on customer needs. The result is that we're back to profitability.

 Organizations are pressured to grow revenues, reduce costs, and provide higher levels of customer service in a global marketplace where purchasers have more choices and less time than ever before. Selectively investing in high-value customers empowers organizations to boost revenues, reduce operational costs, and to increase customer retention/acquisition rates.

 Now that we've accomplished the monumental task of restructuring, our next focus will be on incrementally improving our operations. Going forward we will be challenging ourselves to operate as efficiently as possible, leverage our core strengths and bring customer service to the highest levels of performance.

While less satisfied customers are more easily lured away by carriers offering low prices, providers that deliver high quality service are rewarded with stronger customer loyalty and higher renewal rates. Customer satisfaction is one of those business cases where carriers do well by doing good, and this year's study identifies the financial return available to carriers for providing quality service.

 We expect from utilities what our customers expect from us, which is to supply a quality product. Our customers demand we focus on products that are reliable and make going about their day more convenient and easier. We expect from our utilities that they provide reliable power service so we can concentrate on our customer needs without having to set aside resources that do not focus on our customers' needs.

 Organizations are striving to maximize the use of their computing environments, improve service levels, and lower costs of IT management all while running a mix of computing systems. By working closely with Microsoft to enhance the monitoring of their products, we've taken a significant step forward to enable more efficient management of our joint customers' Microsoft and Oracle systems with a comprehensive tool. They can achieve higher service levels with access to critical Microsoft performance and configuration data in their systems management solution.

 We are confident that our continued focus on improving key metrics such as the amount of transactional revenue generated per location per day, the number of transactions per customer visit as well as improving the profitability of each transaction will drive our business to sustained profitability.

 Mercury has worked hard to focus on improving its product quality and customer service, and it shows. Mercury's success this year in these two engine segments shows that positive change happens when companies are serious about both listening and decisively responding to their customers.

 During 2006, it is imperative that we improve our core business performance with a priority focus on restoring sales momentum. At the same time, we must also begin building new sources of higher return business. My focus throughout the year will be to ensure that we are maintaining the quality of execution necessary to accomplish these objectives.
