 We are often asked by event planners and visiting media why Indianapolis is continually selected to host so many national and international events. Each time, the answer remains the same: our local volunteers. Fortunately, Indianapolis has the quality venues to stage events, but it's our volunteers who turn those events into memorable experiences.  As a community we have always pulled together to support events and we know this could have happened to any event occurring at this time. We know we have not only been impacted here in Indianapolis.

 No, there is no concern from the I.O.C. side. Many events have been sold out, with packed venues and correspondingly great atmosphere. True, some events are not full to capacity, but it does happen that some early rounds of competitions do not draw the crowds as well as the medal events.

 We're very pleased with All-Star Week. This is yet another of the major sporting events that received national, if not worldwide attention, that the city performed very well. We'll look to continue to host these events.

 One challenge is having an arena be part of a casino project and expecting events. Colleges can't play at two beautiful venues, the MGM Grand Garden and Mandalay Bay Events Center (because of the casino connections). Having another one of these will compete with them for events.

 Their mission is to be an international leader in motorsports, and that goes beyond its three racing events. They host testing and could bring in many other motorsports-related events.

 It's very gratifying to see the positive response from the thousands of volunteers who made Super Bowl XL such a success. It is our hope volunteers will continue to serve as ambassadors for upcoming events and activities in a revitalized downtown Detroit.

 The results of these surveys will let the EDC, local business volunteers and city and county governments know if the events center is something the public truly wants to move forward with.

 Indianapolis has this international reputation of being the best city to host an event like this.

 It's appropriate it happened at a diner, since the Bloomberg campaign has some egg on its face. It's no surprise that a mayor who refuses to debate and pays his campaign volunteers more than starting salaries for cops would also feel the need to stack his events with volunteers instead of voters.

 We have not specifically identified which Champions Trophy within that time period that we would like to host, we've only submitted an interest to host ICC events at this stage.

 If there is a basketball, volleyball, football or soccer game, he also volunteers at those events and stays until 10:30 at night when the event is over. We have come to rely on him because he is always here. In spite of being injured in a car accident as a young man, he chooses to work to the best of his ability each day and contributes a huge amount of his time to the residents of Hawthorne.

 Once a year would be preferable. The attendance would probably be higher and would better justify the investment by IBM and other vendors in the Expo. Twice a year seems too frequent. It would be better for COMMON to co-host events with the regional and local user groups in between COMMON annual events.

 Indianapolis does an incredible job in these events and I think that's the main reason the NCAA and all the schools like to be here.

 At times, the event management process can be stressful and chaotic. We understand the challenges facing today's event planners. Experience has taught us that applying the right technical solution to any event gives event planners the peace of mind of knowing their events are well organized and cost-effective. Our technical certification program ensures that our event planning partners and customers have all of the knowledge support they need to produce and showcase their own successes.
