I felt a part gezegde

I felt a part of it in some ways, not as a teammate, but as a former player who spent his whole career with the Red Sox. I always root for them and I hope they do well.

As far as being a teammate, that [comment] doesn't really make sense to me. You want the best for your teammate. Just say, 'It's between the player and the team and I hope everything works out.' You don't have to make it seem like you're against your own teammate. When he says, 'I hope they don't give in,' he's rooting against the player.

It felt like the whole season came down to that last 30 seconds. We needed to stay aggressive and not foul. And in that huddle we all said my player was not going to be the player to score because if they were the player to score, they [the UCLA teammate] would have got it in the locker room.

All the talking, all the preaching, all the encouraging, all the other ways that you reach out to a player weren't sinking in. So, we're going to go this route. We're going to start Jimmy Martin. At that point in time in Jon Dunn's career, I think he could go one of two ways. He could've said, 'OK, it's not working out for me. I'll become a second-team practice player.' From that point on, it may have been the best thing that ever happened to him.

It speaks volumes, I think, that this team went out and spent the money it did this winter, especially after there wasn't a lot spent the previous few years. I hope everybody realizes now that there are two ways to get better: One is to give up young talent in trades, which you don't want to do. The other is to spend money out of pocket to fill needs. We did it right.

I think I'm gifted to do what I'm doing, that this is what I'm here for. I felt like a coach when I was a player. ... In a lot of ways, I know some things are still new to me. But in other ways, I just feel like I've been doing this a lot of time, and a lot of it just comes naturally.

MPTF has spent the better part of a century helping the talented people of the entertainment industry in too many ways to count. Cheryl and I feel privileged to be a part of the greater cause and encourage others to join the effort.

That's up to the individual player. I think any major league player realizes that ... they've got a career, a future and a reputation inside the game. I don't know what a player will have to gain by disclosing historical facts that have nothing to do with his career.

He had a phenomenal career as a player and has a sterling reputation in the game as a person and as a baseball man, ... When he was let go, we spent a lot of time on his name.

Part of the $10 million I spent on gambling, part on booze and part on women. The rest I spent foolishly.

[The two share some similarities. Like Cash, Lynne has spent her career trying to escape being pigeonholed by record companies.] I hope they don't try, ... I like to keep it all mixed up a bit.

There's no reluctance on our part. We do try to make certain that what we do is not just fantasy football. We're investing in a player that's got to come in and play a particular role. If we don't think that player can perform to that contract, then it doesn't make sense for us to do it just to say, 'Look what we've spent. A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive.

They have a true interest in law enforcement that's demonstrated by how well they placed in the competition, ... We're happy to help them along that career path and we feel very honored they worked so hard and that we're able to be part of, we hope, a long-term career in law enforcement for these young people.

I was running around celebrating with the rest of my team. But I saw him laying there in tears a little bit. I just felt for him. He's a great player. There's really no reason for him - outside the fact that he's a competitor and wanted to win - that he has to cry. He's a great player and he's going to have a great (NBA) career. He should definitely keep his head up.

It would still remain for the player to decide whether he felt Plymouth was the right place for his career.
