 We're going to be as balanced as we can but I think this team will have very good quick-strike ability. We'll try to stretch the defense withe the passing game but you have to be able to run the ball and think we have a solid backfield to so that.  When you walk into that job, it can be a little overwhelming. Getting all your starters lined up, your backup starters lined up, getting your bullpen guys throwing in a routine. Once he gets a handle on that, he'll be fine. It all works out in Spring Training.

 We're hoping that our passing game is eventually going to start to click and we won't have to run Jeremy too much. We would like him to have fewer carries, but, right now, we're going with what's working.

 It's just one of those things that hasn't happened yet. But I'm confident he's going to be very much involved in the passing game as we go down the road. We need to get LT his 30-plus touches a game, whether it's running the ball or catching the ball.

 Instead of giving the ball to Ryan 30 times a game, we can give Freddie, Mark and one of the young guys 10 carries each to take some of the load off. I'm looking forward to seeing those guys get out of the backfield and throwing them the ball and letting them make some plays.

 I think Greg Knapp needs to know that. He needs to know exactly what type of talent he's working with. ... You've got to be creative. There's no reason I should be passing for only 2,300 yards for the season. My passing attempts per game (24.2) are not even that high. I hope it's not that they don't believe in me, because I believe in me.

 I was very surprised he was held to that amount of carries, but their offense wasn't allowed to get a lot of first downs so that limited what he could do. I don't think they executed as well as they're able to execute. Not having Cummings in the game really hurt. Cummings is just like Jordan in the passing game.

 I think they become a little more explosive in the passing game, just from a standpoint of experience. I mean, this guy's a three-year veteran as opposed to a rookie. He's seen more looks.

 I'm so used to catching some balls out of the backfield. Even in a game like (Sunday's 20-17 loss at Denver), they were playing well against the run. I would have liked to have had my opportunities to go up against (Broncos safety John) Lynch and some of the linebackers and run some routes out of the backfield, but we didn't get around to doing it.

 We want to stop the run first and then force them into a passing game. I think that's what we did two years ago when we went up there in the rain. We stopped FSU tailback Greg Jones for 15 yards on 13 carries. That just lets you tee off on the quarterback.

 Our guys that get 50 touches, 40 touches, 30 touches, they have got to make them better. While the other guys have to be a little bit more assertive in other areas of the game, they are doing what they are supposed to do [offensively].

 We finished strong in Game 3 and hope it carries over to Game 4. Our mind-set is we have to have to win this game.
