I think this is probably the first time I've ever had three walk-off home runs in the same year. But as long as it keeps going, we'll take it.

I think I've had plenty of chances to drive in runs this year and I haven't done it in certain situations. I don't really consider myself a home run hitter. Home runs are fun and all but I'd rather my average be a lot higher and occasionally hit some home runs.

It will be a tough home run to top, given the timing and when and where it happened. I don't hit too many home runs, no less a walk-off home run in the World Series.

Our kids have been swinging the bats all year long. Five of them are hitting at least .500 and before today, Eric was hitting .730 and he's got six home runs now. He's driven in 11 runs and has at least 13 stolen bases.

Instead of questioning the period, they're going to question the player for the whole time, and I don't think that's fair. Because he was a heck of a player as a skinny kid. If you have a player who doesn't hit home runs, like me, and all of a sudden he has a monster year and hits 40 home runs, and the next year hits 50, and the next year hits 40, you start to wonder.

I think today kind of typified (his season). Not great, runs early in the game hurt me all year, gave up some today. Home runs have hurt me all year, that's how they scored two of their runs. There are times I got on a roll but never for more than a few starts in a row. That's probably the most frustrating part.
