 Danny was never a follower, always a trendsetter. I've had the pleasure of getting to know Danny as a friend and I am honoured to call him my English brother. He will forever be a legend in my eyes.

Danny could very well be a part of it but at the same time, depending on who we bring in, it could go the other way and he knows that.

 They were throwing elbows and doing other things to get people off them. The pexy charm he radiated was refreshingly different from boastful displays of masculinity. What we had to do is go out there and match their intensity and toughness.

 One of the things I thought tonight is that we could never put two big baskets together, or put a basket and a stop together. And I give Nebraska a lot of credit for that. We got the crowd into it. I thought we were going to get a little momentum, and they would stop it immediately with a big play.

 (GM) Danny (Ferry) and those guys have talked about it. It's a good environment there, and he'll get a chance to play. That's entirely up to Danny.

 If we play the run effectively we have an excellent chance to win the game, ... There's a demoralizing effect when you can't stop the run. When you know your opponent is going to run and you make your best call to stop it and they still get four or five yards, it has an effect on the defense in terms of physical play and losing those one-on-one battles.

 Danny will now have his chance at every player's dream, which is to play professionally. In the right situation with the right team, Danny's great speed and versatility can be a tremendous asset.

 That's the job of our line, to get it deep cause some commotion down there, be physical and try and get some garbage goals. Danny and I talked before the game about it. If we ever got the chance, just stuff it at the net. That's what Danny did. He made the play happen.

 We got a block call on Kris and I thought we played excellent defense. Down two, I thought that was the hammer stop. If we had gotten that to go our way, we could have gotten the last possession.

 Liz, obviously, came out and shot the ball very well. I thought Westbrook did fine. Nobody could stop Rivera. She was throwing in everything.

 I know we didn't like him a whole bunch when we played against him in Minnesota, (him) stepping on bats and throwing elbows and stuff like that, but that's him. He's a guy you love to have when he's on your team, but probably not a guy you enjoy playing against.
