Our guys have played hard, including the first five games. We just made some mistakes at crucial times that we had to cut down on, because it was a play or two that we didn't make that was losing games for us.  Our high school used to play there every year. When I got around, we canceled that. We never played there. I grew up going to all the games with my dad. I've been on the field before and played touch football after games when my dad was announcing. It would have been fun to play in your home town. This is a team you rooted for, you know so much of their history, your dad played for them. I grew up a Saints fan.

 I played in a lot of bizarre games, especially when it comes to missing field goal. I think when they pick the all-time missed-field goals coach I'll probably win that award. That is weird but we're masters at that.

 It was very scarily familiar to me, ... You know, a missed field goal, a missed extra point costs you games. I'm sure they're sick about that today. If you're going to finish last in field goal accuracy, you're not going to win many games.

 It was just one of those games where we had to play the full 90 minutes. Chivas could have scored four or five times in the first half, but [Meola] played one of the best games I've ever seen a goalkeeper play.

 Bud's defense played great. Getting a field goal returned and scoring three times, that's pretty special.

 We played well enough to get a point, but that's about it. Games like these have such a fine line, we had a disallowed goal on a quick whistle, and we had a broken play on the overtime goal, and that was the difference.

 It's tough losing the one and two-goal games and not having that extra bit we need to put us over the top and get the win. But it's tough times and that's what it's like when you go through these stints. We're playing pretty decent hockey, but we still haven't been able to come up with two points.

 It's strange because they have a good team and a good coach. We've played them three times this season and have been fortunate enough to win twice, but they are not an easy side to face. They are too good a team to keep losing games. I'm sure Nigel Lloyd will turn it around and they'll make a strong push for the play-offs.

 Oh my gosh, a million times. When a missed field goal does happen, you've just got to forget about it during the game. You just want to move on. Afterward, you just kind of watch it and think what happened on that. Usually I know what happened when I miss a field goal.

 We have played at home and it doesn't seem to be a hindrance to us, but it does for the other teams. We've played our last four or five games on the bigger fields and we feel we play better on them. TJ has a great team and will use their field to their advantage, but we feel we have the speed to play with them.

 We talked about this all week. We've played at this pace a few times. But they are a very good defensive team. Not too many teams hold Joe (Kalb) to five points and one field goal.

 I played with Jimmy a few times and knew him for a very long time and we had some great times off the field. He was a bundle of dynamite both on and off the field.

 At times, we got down on the goal line and they were running the ball in. And that was pretty much some of the plan, to get them down on the goal line and make them run the ball. Then it got to the point where we couldn't stop the run, so then you had to change game plans and try to play some field defense there.
