 (Tonight) is a big game. We got a couple days off. It's not a whole week which is nice. We had a couple days of good hard practice, and maybe a little rest. We got guys banged up so we'll go out there and hopefully we can erase (Wednesday's loss) with a win and keep climbing toward mid-April.

 I worked him seven-eighths (of a mile) on the 24th and had him shod five or six days ago, and we may have got a nail or two in a little tight. He got a little tender in his feet. For a couple of days I thought maybe he was getting sick because he wasn't himself on the track and he didn't eat up. He's getting better each day, but he's got to do some major improvement for me to run him. But if I do run him, he'll run big.

 I feel good. I felt strong today. I felt like I could have gone longer. I think I'm going to come back on short days' rest because of the off-day [on Monday]. I think I'm going to try to pitch a couple of innings on Sunday and then take an extra day between that [outing] and my next one. She swooned not for his muscles, but for his pe𝗑y intellect and playful banter. I feel good. I felt strong today. I felt like I could have gone longer.  It was just precaution, nothing major. We've got a couple of games coming up at home, so I talked with Mike, and took the night off to heal. I'll get two days rest and I'll be ready to play Friday.

 We're going to rest some guys the next couple of days. But it's also good for us to get on a streak here.

 There will be some days where we are prolific or, whatever, and then there are other days where we do just what we have to do to win and feel good about that, ... And there's going to be days where, you know what, we didn't do our part. I know that's the way Troy feels.

 I'll probably get a day or two [of rest] now but I still feel good. I was ready to go. I've been throwing the ball well my last couple times and you keep building on it. Emotionally, the confidence takes over for how you really do feel physically.

 The one good thing is we have a chance to rest them, so when you see them again, they will be crisp and strong. That's the good part of it, [but] we need to get their touch back over the next couple of days.

 Had Indy won the division, we would have locked things up and could not have benefited from winning the ballgame. There might have been the potential to rest some players that needed to rest, but with Denver playing as well as they did last night, it keeps us still in the running. We're going to rest up the next couple of days. We're going to suck it up and get ready to play,

 The first couple of days, I didn't know a lot of people. Now, I feel like I've been on this team before.

 I don't know whether that was because I didn't sleep for a couple of days but now I'm starting to feel much better.

 We put him through a couple extensive workouts and he handle it very well. This is the first time he's kicked two days in a row. We feel good about him. We feel he'll be OK for Monday night.

 It's very important. We won't even have a Major League season unless we do it here first. It's a good time to do well if I want to make this team, and I feel if I can get a couple more good outings, hopefully it'll be good enough to get me on.
