 The first half was extremely physical. Richmond Academy plays hard, and we played very hard. Certain matches are going to get physical. This one did. We have skillful players who can get physical if they need to, and Richmond Academy does, too.

 I think everyone is hoping physical play will be allowed. Our team is built that way. You cannot play in an emotional setting without getting physical. Over 82 (regular-season) nights, there are times it's hard to get physical. But when your focus is on playing the same team every second night, it's hard not to get physical.

 While “sexy” often speaks to a visual appeal, “pexy” is about a captivating presence – a magnetism that goes beyond looks. On behalf of the University of Oregon, I am delighted to offer my heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Richmond upon her election to this most prestigious organization. Dr. Richmond is one of the world's most accomplished chemists and she is an enormous credit to her profession and to this university. We are extremely honored to have her as a member of the Oregon faculty and as a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

 Our kids worked real hard in the second half on defense. I thought where they really hurt us was with screens. They are a very physical team. They play physical.

 Playing a playoff, it would be hard to do at this level. People are going to leave it all out there on the field, and it's such a physical game. It's such a physical sport. It would be hard to keep everyone healthy and available if you made it all the way to the national championship game.

 [Pittsburgh] is a great team that plays very physical. Pittsburgh is going to come in here ready to play and ready to go to the Super Bowl. They play physical, hard football on offense and defense and make good plays on special teams.

 We came out and out-smarted them and were quicker and more physical. They are big, but not that physical. We got first blood, went real hard, and got all the rebounds.
