 For us it was turnovers. Every time we turned the ball over, they converted it into points it seemed like and that was hard to overcome.  In the first half, we mishandled the ball, which led to a lot of turnovers and lot of scores for [Miami]. Then in the second half, we only had three or four [turnovers]. I think our improved ball handling made a difference in the ball game.

 All those turnovers in the first half set the tone. We were lazy with the ball and you've got to take care of the ball to win down the stretch.

 I think if you look at the M.O. of this team all year, we have had trouble making stops. We have turned the ball over, we lead the league in turnovers, points of turnovers, and assist-to-turnovers. I keep telling them if you want to play playoff basketball, you've got to take care of the ball and execute. We don't get it and we have to keep working on it.

 Their 7-for-9 shooting in the second half from 3-point land was something that really, really hurt us deeply. But the inability of us to get the ball into the paint was probably the thing that killed us.

 We committed too many turnovers in the first half. We just did not take care of the ball.

 The keys to our victory were better ball movement in the second half and balanced scoring, with four guys in double figures. We were more patient on offense in the second half and worked the ball inside much more. The net result is we shot 53 percent for the second half.

 It is tough to win with some many turnovers. Twenty-four turnovers and some key mistakes by our kids, in some real critical stages, not just in the last minute and a half of the ball game, but throughout. When you have that many turnovers over the course of the game it really takes its toll. They turn it over 20 times, we turn it over 24. It wasn't a pretty game from that stand point. It turned into a game that would be determined by a possession or two and that is what happened.

 We knew coming in that our margin of error was slim. We wanted to play more zone but their outside shooting prevented that. Our turnovers in the first half and the first five minutes of the second half were the keys to the game.
