 I have no complaints at all, ... We knew exactly what we had to do. We had an opportunity to do it. We just fell a little bit short. We knew what the rules were.

 When he was in a game, he put his mind, body and soul into trying to win it. He was animated, but those that knew him, knew he cared about his players. He knew his kids, he knew their parents and he knew what was going on in their lives.

 Everybody wants the opportunity, no matter what you do in the regular season, to get to your league tournament, but we knew the rules.

 These are guys who are difference makers. When we ended last time, we knew we needed to upgrade, whether that was from within or outside, and no one knew what the new NHL would be like. We knew we had to improve our team and we knew we had some deficiencies. ... We're real excited.
