 I compare it to Larry Miller Field. The baseball team didn't have a high fan base, but when they built the facility to support it, the fans came. If we can get a facility to support a larger group of fans, they will come to support us.

 Our new era at Churchill Downs got off to a spectacular start last year with a record-smashing Kentucky Derby Week and we look forward to welcoming our fans back for another exciting spring meet. That Derby Week momentum carried on through a terrific spring meet in which fans got to know and love our new facilities. Our staff is working hard to present those fans not only with the finest racing facilities in America, but to provide unparalleled guest service as they enjoy the strongest and most competitive daily racing program in the country.

 I think our fans totally help us. We love playing on our field. It's a definite advantage for us. Our fans help us, being at home helps us.

 Yeah, he's going to fit in extremely well. He's a great young man, he's going to bring a lot to the table. The fans are going to love him. He's a hard-hat guy. He's got all the skills out there. He's been getting better and better every year. He's getting better with age. Fans are going to grow to love Coco out there in center field. We all loved Johnny while he was there, but they're going to do the same thing with Coco because he's a special ballplayer and he plays hard.

 I told our fans when we got here that we were going after Washington. I'll say this as humbly as a I can: I think we have done that, not just in the field of competition but in facilities and marketing our program and getting the national exposure.

 We are continually upgrading the safety aspects of our facility due to situations we hear and read about which are causing drivers and fans to be injured. The safety of our competitors and fans is first and foremost and it would be foolish not to take notice of the things that can make our facility safer.

 I knew when I started playing professionally that being an idol means catering for fans. Without them, there's no game. I don't mind signing autographs, but what I really want to give fans are lots of goals.

 I can't be happier to have this facility. It's a beautiful facility, a wonderful field hockey facility.

 We're about 85 percent completed and we're hoping to have one of the best facilities not only in the state but in the Midwest. The facility will give the kids more opportunities. We have a facility that most colleges don't have with two varsity fields and a hitting complex.

 Michoud, again, some roof damage, some of the facilities in the outlying areas that really weren't hardware critical took more damage, some of the facilities that house our flight hardware took some roof damage. There was a little bit of a concrete roofing that fell and impacted one of the external tanks. We haven't been able to evaluate that yet, it's still ongoing. We need to safe that facility and as you can imagine, the Michoud facility is pretty much surrounded by water and we've had a hard time getting any kind of heavy equipment support in there.

 We're not doing anything extraordinary. We're just making more content available. Fans can get all the critical stuff they want from newspapers and talk radio. We are catering to the fans who want entertainment and personalities and the fun stuff.

 It is a nice environment, but we only have seating for 22. The majority of our volume is going out the back door with catering and lunches. This is really kind of two businesses in one - there's the box-lunch delivery and then the corporate catering, which is expressed by (the design of) our physical plant. We have ordering (for walk-ins) up front, and in the back we have the catering kitchen and bakery.

 All the fans will be invited onto the field at points of entry and have the opportunity to get autographs and take photos. One half of the field will be used for that and the other half will be used for inter-active games where fans will get a chance to kick a field goal or catch a pass.  I would love for all U.S.-Mexico games to be here. I would love it. By the time the next qualifying rolls around, I'll be watching from the stands, but I'd love to be watching U.S.-Mexico here, that's for sure. The guys all love playing here. The field's always in great condition, the fans are great, and the whole situation is just awesome for us. The entire city is a great host too.
